Ever since I was a kid I have been giving back rubs. I remember going to sleep away camp and giving people back rubs poolside and putting people to sleep. I enjoyed helping people feel better but I never thought it would lead to a career.
I went to college and graduated with a degree in English and Theatre while waitressing. I found it easy to get a shift covered so I could go and audition if I needed to. Several years later, I got married and running into the city for cattle calls lost it's luster.

I graduated from Somerset School of Massage Therapy in 1994 and went on to receive advanced training in Neuro-Muscular Therapy from The NeuroMuscular Academy of Florida that same year. I began working at the Gatsby Salon in Green Brook doing spa massage untill April of 1999 when I left to have my first child.
Several months later an old friend approached me about working for her at the Gentle Healing Wellness Spa. A massage school was added and I was able to branch out into teaching Neuro Muscular Therapy, Physiology, Prenatal Massage and On-Site Chair Massage, having started my own on-site chair massage company a few years before known as Corporate Care.
In 2007 I reconnected and later partnered with an outstanding CranioSacral Therapist and together we opened The Natural Health Center of Central NJ. After 4 years I started to feel that I didn't have enough time to devote to my business and family the way they each deserved, so after much deliberation that we decided to close The Center.
My new space affords me a good balance between work and home allowing me to devote all my attention to my clients at work and my family when I'm home. Being in the moment has helped me to clarify what I want to manifest in my life. I'd like to help others find that same sense of equipoise.
